The Sky Tonight
Want a preview of the night sky before your tour? Take a look at an interactive night sky map, courtesy of Stellarium. You can even peer into the future and see what's visible the night of your upcoming tour.

Map Instructions

Mobile Users: Tap the hamburger menu icon (the three horizontal lines) at the top right of the map to close the menu and view the map.

Change Location: To see what the sky will look like at the tour location, click the location button at the bottom left ofthe map and enter "Lake Arrowhead" as the location, then click "Use This Location."

Change The Time and Date: The map will default to showing the sky after sunset at the current date. To view a future time, click the time button at the bottom right of the map and enter the time and date of your tour (on a 24 hour clock).

Display Options: To the see constellations on the map, click the triangle icon at the bottom of the map.

Navigating the Map: Click and drag to change the angle of the map and scroll/pinch to zoom in and out. Click an object of interest for a description.
